ABOUT ME
I'm a sailor. In fact, my home is an Endeavour 37 sloop. And, just like a sailboat, my life has not always traveled in a straight line.
My academic journey into math and science started later in life at a community college, and I ended up graduating from a university with a B.S. in Engineering Physics, a concentration in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Mathematics. I returned to my community college to teach Calculus and was also the head tutor at their academic support center. While working there, I saw an opportunity to reach more people through online teaching platforms and started working as an independent, online tutor.
Technology is at the point where online tutoring can be as effective--perhaps even more, than traditional methods.
